视频号复刻「抖快」,腾讯电商圆梦?

虽然业界流传着“腾讯学不会电商”的说法,但是当抖、快兴趣电商来势汹汹,抖音电商GMV已经接近1.5万亿元时,腾讯显然有点按捺不住。被马化腾视作“全场的希望”的视频号,能否担起腾讯的电商梦? 

“如何在不下场做电商的前提下,把电商闭环做好,是视频号未来的挑战。”去年年末,马化腾在内部员工大会上这样期待。

腾讯初次下场做电商,要追溯到2005年上线的拍拍网。后来,不管是试水QQ商城、QQ网购,还是最近几年做小鹅拼拼、腾讯荟聚和企鹅惠买,都没能激起太大的水花。拍拍网2014年被京东并购。去年2月,小鹅拼拼停止运营,从应用商店下架。今年2月1日,腾讯荟聚也宣布转型。

业界一直称“腾讯学不会电商”,在资本市场看来,相比于自己下场做电商,腾讯似乎更适合扮演“投资者”身份,退居京东、拼多多等电商平台幕后。

而在竞争对手方面,据“晚点财经”的报道,抖音电商GMV已经非常接近既定目标之一的1.5万亿元,和拼多多2020年1.66万亿元GMV在一个水平线上。快手电商也在去年下半年宣布,推出“快手新品超级计划”,计划“打造100款GMV破亿,以及10000款GMV破千万的快手生态新品”。

当抖音、快手的电商来势汹汹,连淘宝、美团等都将其视为强劲对手时,腾讯显然也有点按捺不住。马化腾内部员工大会上形容视频号不仅是“WXG(微信事业群)最亮眼的业务”,更“是全场的希望”。

过去一年,腾讯的游戏、视频与云计算等业务都在想方设法“降本”,对于当下的视频号而言,“全场的希望”其实更像是腾讯在“增效”方面谋求破局的动作。苗头已经有了,腾讯距离实现电商梦还有多远?

复刻“抖快”?

最近半年,视频号商业化的发展速度很难称得上是“克制”。

去年9月,2022年微信广告生态合作伙伴大会以视频号直播的形式举办,释放出视频号进一步商业化的信号。在大会上,腾讯透露微信生态内活跃广告主数量同比提升19%、视频类广告素材消耗占比同比提升26%。

腾讯去年三季度财报提到:“广告主对视频号信息流广告需求强劲,尤其是快速消费品行业广告主。”随后,去年年底,微信视频号原生广告竞价推广能力正式宣布上线,支持广告主对短视频和直播进行投流推广。

商业化方面,除了老生常谈的广告,电商业务更是被视频号马不停蹄地推进,抖快直播电商中有的功能,这两年,视频号基本也都跟上了步伐。

早在2020年10月,视频号上线直播功能。连麦、打赏、添加购物车、接入第三方分销系统相继完善,逐步搭建起完整的电商基础设施。2022年7月,视频号小店上线,视频号橱窗的使用规则逐步优化,对电商规范运营。

自2023年1月1日起,视频号开始面向商家收取技术服务费,具体按每笔订单对应商品或服务的类目计算费率,费率在1%-5%。在业内,快手从2019年起收取技术服务费,抖音也于2020年2月收取1%-10%的技术服务费。

那么,这是否意味着视频号可以成功复刻抖、快的电商路?

在今年1月的微信公开课Pro上,腾讯官方数据显示,2022年视频号日活跃创作者数和日均视频上传视频量同比涨幅均超过100%,万粉及以上的创作者数量增长308%。直播带货上,销售额同比增长超8倍,平台公域购买转化率提升超100%,客单价超200元,来自视频号小店的销售额占比已经超过90%。

不过,视频号依旧处于商业化初期,腾讯方面并没有披露相关的基数,增速快并不意味着有了与抖音、快手一决高下的资本。

以“直播间的平均客单价超过200元”为例,电商从业者赵林告诉《豹变》:“数据一定是不错的,但举个例子,就像山姆的客单价与普通超市的客单价相比,山姆肯定是客单价很高,但是其中也要考虑数量问题。抖音成交量比较高的大概是100块钱以下的商品,实际上也不好做对比。”

想要复刻“抖快”的电商路,并不容易。

比如,刚刚过去的春节,视频号第二次获得春晚的独家竖屏转播权。在春晚视频号的直播页面上,前四个商品链接是合作方伊利的牛奶,后两个是央视总台的文创兔玩偶。 据“吴晓波频道”统计, 两款文创兔分别卖出几千 份 , 四款伊利牛奶 最好的一款销量仅有几百份。 

视频号春晚带货/微信广告助手 

从商家体验来说,赵林从2019年开始接触抖音电商,同时也是视频号电商前几批的内测用户,他告诉《豹变》:“实际上,抖音的生态已经非常完整了,包括用户心智、用户习惯也逐渐养成,在抖音上被种草、下单购物是一个非常自然的流程。但当我们自运营店铺,从抖音这个比较成熟的平台到视频号,用户教育似乎还没有完成,转化率有些不尽人意。”

依旧在“起跑”阶段

“三到五年内,视频号将撑起万亿美元电商交易规模。”有赞CEO白鸦在公开演讲中曾多次表达对视频号的期待。

过去一段时间,类似于有赞的第三方服务商支持商家直接与视频号连接,商家可以将店铺小程序直接打通视频号,实现无缝跳转。以有赞为例,去年618期间,根据收官战报,有赞爱逛通过视频号直播的总场观为1.1亿,总交易额4.8亿元。

但有赞私域营销顾问王成告诉《豹变》:“现在很多客户已经不通过有赞做视频号了。微信视频号在去年年底已经统一限制了第三方服务商,之前我们公司可以直接对接视频号店铺,现在除了一些大品牌,商家只能用视频号小店。

2022年10月,视频号选品中心下架,上架“视频号小店联盟”,服务商不能再为商家接入选品中心“分佣推广”模式。另外,视频号出台保证金政策,提高商家准入门槛。这意味着第三方服务商吃视频号红利的时期已经过去,微信不仅要治理视频号生态,更要把“赚钱”这件事握在自己手里。

然而,和电商业务相对成熟的抖音相比,视频号依旧处于起跑阶段。

2021年底,抖音上线独立电商APP“抖音盒子”。2022年5月,抖音将“商城”放到首页,在第二届抖音电商生态大会上,抖音电商总裁魏雯雯宣布,将升级兴趣电商到全域兴趣电商。

2023年1月28日,抖音正式开放抖音超市,1月9日至1月28日,抖音电商上线“抖音超市春节不打烊”活动。

这意味着抖音入局货架电商,试图攻入淘宝、京东、拼多多三大巨头的核心腹地,在“货找人”的基础上,试图从“人找货”上寻求更多的增量。然而,相比之下,视频号电商却依旧处于“货找人”的基础搭建阶段,在直播带货中摸索。

另外,从用户使用时长来看,根据极光大数据,2022年三季度抖音人均单日时长达到140分钟;快手三季报披露的人均单日时长有129分钟。而据视灯研究院数据,视频号人均使用时长为35分钟,不到抖音和快手的三分之一,由于直播带货、短视频带货都需要以用户使用时长为基础,所以对视频号电商而言,还需要将这一数据进一步提升。

还有一点,目前视频号的一大短板还在于缺少原生现象级的头部达人。

过去几年,电商界越来越“卷”,从“直播一哥”李佳琦到知识带货走红的东方甄选直播间,以及现在的喊麦、跳舞各种“整活儿”带货,各个头部主播为平台带来的利益显而易见。以东方甄选为例,实际上,东方甄选在抖音首次开播之后,随后也搭建了视频号,但显然当时视频号电商在各方面不如抖音成熟,现在东方甄选的主战场依旧是抖音。

距离爆发有多远?

QuestMobile发布的《2022中国移动互联网半年报告》显示,到2022年6月,微信视频号月活规模突破8亿,已经超过抖音,位居榜首。抖音月活6.8亿,快手月活3.9亿。

和腾讯很多其他产品一样,庞大的微信用户基础是视频号的天然优势,尽管都是短视频内容,但从商业化角度而言,视频号和抖音需要走不一样的路。如何利用好优势,是视频号现在的重中之重。

尽管视频号种种动作都显示了其电商野心,但“电商”两个字似乎还很难和“微信”的气质联系起来。不过,不得不承认,微信内的种种生态早已悄悄在为视频号电商铺路。

首先,视频号庞大的用户群体意味着它拥有一部分“抖快”未能触达的用户。根据QuestMobile 2021年的数据,抖音用户35岁以下、46-50岁以及三线城市用户占比较高。

赵林提到自己的观察:“以老年群体为例,可能很多老人都没有抖音快手,但是他们有微信。有个明显的现象是,在抖音上带货的主播语速、上货很快,但视频号上的主播节奏明显偏慢,很多号更像是在‘讲故事’,实际上也是瞄准了年龄比较大的群体。”

而在品牌方面,微信朋友圈时常可以见到奢侈品、豪车、名表等更高端品牌的广告,这类广告主愿意在微信投放,意味着微信内存在大量潜在客户,视频号对于承接这部分品牌很有优势。

另外,抖音公域流量和视频号的私域流量变现方式必然有一定区别。抖音其实更追求“即时成交”“被动消费”,即看直播时候的冲动下单。对商家而言,视频号运营和抖音运营的本质区别是做视频号需要有私域的心智。

比如用户在关注某个主播后,成为他的私域用户,关注他的公众号、加他的企业微信或者群组,随后才会为他的产品付费,这个流程对视频号而言更加自然,而视频号在这种情况下的转化,比抖音上随手下单的忠诚度高很多。

同时,赵林还提到:“视频号做电商的成绩还不是那么显著,但不得不承认它的生态产品联系的特别好,包括公众号、小程序、微信群等,现在完全可以做到全域的跳转。这是抖音、快手目前做不到的。”

所以,目前来看,尽管视频号电商的直接变现能力有限,但将视频号作为一个工具,帮助微信生态内的电商闭环建设,或许是个合适的路径。
